Mid-to-Senior Level Kotlin Developers (Freelance)
SHOULD:
- 5+ years of experience in mobile app development with at least 2 years of expertise in Android development using Kotlin
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming language and Android SDK
- Experience with Android app submission and updates on Google Play Store
- Familiarity with testing tools like Firebase App Distribution or similar
- Deep understanding of reactive programming principles and modern Android architecture (e.g., Jetpack Compose, MVVM)
- Experience with integrating 3rd Party SDKs and libraries
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities
- Track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code
What you'll do
- Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin
- Build and maintain scalable, user-friendly mobile apps
- Integrate 3rd Party SDKs and APIs as needed
- Ensure application performance and responsiveness through optimization
- Develop and maintain unit and UI tests to ensure code quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain documentation and follow best practices in Kotlin development
- Mentor and guide junior developers in Kotlin and Android best practices
Work Week: 40 Hours
Fully remote/ WFH
Flexible schedule where you can start and end work anytime of the day
Work for 2 "3 hour blocks" and 1 "2 hour block"
Holidays
