Senior Software QA Engineer
OUR
Senior Software QA Engineer
SHOULD:
- 7+ years of industry experience, with at least 3 years in QA Test Automation.
- Expert in QA tools, concepts, and methodologies
- Ability to lead and train a QA Team to lead a project to a success.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java for test automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in testing web applications across different browsers and platforms
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus
What you'll do
- Be a multiplier to our current QA team by leading and sharing your industry experience and expertise.
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Design well-structured test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
- Continuously improve test cases and processes
- Participate in process improvement
- Perform functional, regression, and UAT testing
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications
- Record and analyze test results and provide detailed reports to the development team
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Provide support and maintain proper documentation for new and existing functionality
- Collaborate with developers to ensure proper testing coverage and identify test automation opportunities
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and tools in test automation
Work Week: 40 Hours
Fully remote/ WFH
Flexible schedule where you can start and end work anytime of the day
Work for 2 "3 hour blocks" and 1 "2 hour block"
